TUTORIAL EXERCISES

These are some tutorial exercises to let students understand the basics of architectural drawings which are hatching styles, coloring medias and architectural handwriting.

PROJECT 1

Movie Poster

A movie poster is a great medium to create the very first impression of the film and recreate the main storyline the movie revolves around on the poster. In this project, students will design a movie poster that show the knowledge and skills gained through the previous exercises.

PROJECT 2

Farnsworth House

This project will consist of 3 parts. Students will learn about how to draw architectural orthographic drawings such as plan, sections, elevations, axonometric and perspective drawings in 1:100 scale.

PROJECT 3

Presentation Board

In this project, students will need to introduce their structure by doing a presentation board. Students have to compose the architectural orthographic drawings which from the project 3 of architectural design I studio.

OVERALL REFLECTION

Due to the pandemic, we were taking our tutorials and lecturers through online learning. Tutors provided us with some social media platforms for us to reach out with them such as Facebook, Telegram, Teams and others. The tutor will also let us upload our progress of assignments to the Padlet, so that we can keep up with the pace of the course and supervise our own learning. Tutors always give some feedbacks to us for improvements. I really appreciate that they gave through online learning to the students.
