Movie Poster
Project task
In this project, students are given the freedom to choose whatever genre of movie we wanted to make. The movie poster should consists of the following elements which are figure drawings(portrait, full-body drawing, body part) , natural elements, man-made objects and lettering in various sizes to follow the typical format of a movie poster. (including the movie title, the names of the director, actors, producer)
MOOD

Students are required to create a mood board and present their main ideas( elements that want to show and color palettes) and design narrative to their tutors and get feedback for improvement.
In the mood board, the theme I want to present is adventure, fairy aesthetic and mysterious areas.
DRAFTS

Students have to sketched two drafts drawings as A5 size for the Movie poster to show the storyline. The drafts chosen by the tutor will be the final artwork for Project 1 Movie Poster.
FINAL

WONDERLAND
The Final Movie Poster will be completed with the consists of the elements given and colored.
Storyline: All of a sudden, A girl finds herself awake in a fantasy world. She have to find the key in the limited time to open the door to her original world.
REFLECTION
In the project, I have learnt how to narrate the storyline on the drawings. It helps me to develop freehand drawing skills and skills in coloring to capture the essence and express the genre of the film.
