Space and Sensory:
Self - Exploration through Spaces
[Sensory Space]
Project task
In this project, students need to discover a dominant theme and create a poetic architectural representation in their design. Students need to think in a different perspective and develop the sensorial experience that they want to highlight. The required drawings should represent three aspects of the design concept which are the design intention, main theme that want to show from the design and the user experience in the spaces.

Before the pandemic, our life is “ Periodicity” ( cyclicity ). Life is ordinary yet free. The COVID-19 pandemic sudden has broken the regularity of life and has suddenly and deeply changed our lives. The pandemic has begun to be a “ framework” to restrain our life. The chaos that Covid-19 has brought to once-familiar places lent an urgency, So the question is, how do I react with the unexpected situation? How do I understand, feel, face and accept the sudden changes and uncertainty?

REFLECTION
In this project, I have learnt how to create spaces for the user with different emotion. I realized that the materiality, light penetration and space will affect the emotion and feeling of the user. The user will reflect the emotion with the action in that particular space. For this project, I have to more consider the user of his dynamics of movement and human ergonomics in relation to the sensory spaces.
